Globe Valve Casting

Globe valve casting refers to the process of manufacturing globe valves through casting, a method of shaping metals by pouring molten metal into a mold and allowing it to solidify. Globe valves are linear motion valves used to stop, start, and regulate fluid flow in pipelines.

In globe valve casting, a mold is created in the shape of the valve components, such as the valve body, bonnet, and disc. Molten metal, typically cast iron, ductile iron, or stainless steel, is then poured into the mold and left to solidify. Once solidified, the mold is removed, leaving behind the casted globe valve components.

Casting is a preferred method for manufacturing globe valves as it allows for the production of complex shapes with high precision. The resulting valves are durable, reliable, and suitable for various applications, including water treatment, oil and gas, and industrial processes.
