Lug Style Butterfly Valve

A lug style butterfly valve is a type of butterfly valve that has threaded inserts, or lugs, on the valve body. These lugs allow the valve to be installed between two flanges using bolts and nuts. The valve is sandwiched between the flanges, and the bolts pass through the lugs to hold the assembly together. This design makes it easy to install, remove, or replace the valve without having to remove the entire flange assembly.
